Det ble et godt gjensyn\/h\u00f8r med v\u00e5r tidligere pastor Ivan Chetwynd som ledet gudstjenesten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De fleste medlemmer av St. Georg Gildene er &laquo;hardbarka&raquo;, gamle speidere. (Det nordiske, samepolitiske m\u00f8tet i 1917, den hemmelige j\u00f8diske synagogen under krigen, kirkeasylet tidlig p\u00e5 1990-tallet og de siste \u00e5renes arbeid for rombefolkningen.) De historiske glimtene ble formildet av tidligere menighetshistoriker, Bj\u00f8rn Gunnar Andersen. Mange ga uttrykk for at det syntes Trondheim metodistkirke var vakker, og ikke minst uttalte de seg rosende om kirkens\/menighetens respekt, engasjement, omsorg for minoriteter og annerledes troende. Det er all grunn til \u00e5 tro at gudstjenesten ble et positivt m\u00f8te med Metodistkirken generelt og Trondheim Metodistkirke spesielt.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>St.Georgs Gildene er<\/strong>\u00a0en organisasjon som ble stiftet for voksne som \u00f8nsker \u00e5 fortsette, ta opp igjen, st\u00f8tte speidersaken, eller starte sin vandring p\u00e5 speidervegen. &#8211; Organisasjonen ble stiftet i 1952.\u00a0St. Georg Gildene Norge<\/em><em>\u00a0er en del av den verdensomspennende organisasjonen &laquo;International Scout and Guide Fellowship&raquo;.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fullsatt kirke da over 90 utsendinger til St. Georg Gildenes landsting i Trondheim samlet seg til kveldsgudstjeneste i Trondheim Metodistkirke kl. 23.00 l\u00f8rdag kveld.
